📝About the Event
ScrapTales – E-Waste Assembly Challenge is an innovative E-Waste sustainable equipment model making competition where students transform everyday e-waste into equipment/tools used during natural disasters.
A Team of 3 students assemble their model in 2hrs using e-waste that they bring from home, build wonder, share the story behind their innovation, understand the importance of sustainable E-Waste equipment which are used during natural disasters and Reduce-Reuse-Recycle while exploring tools in an innovative way.

⚖️Rules and Procedures
- Participating teams will assemble and present an E-Waste sustainable equipment Model based on the topic in the venue given. Each team gets 1 table space.
- Submit Model on cardboard base with Title Card and chart( Model name + Tagline)
⚖️Students should Bring the following
- E-Waste kit: E-Waste materials like-Old keyboards, mouse, CDs, wires, bottle caps, cardboard, buttons, chargers, RAM sticks etc.
- Quantity: Max 2kg e-waste per team.
- Chart paper with the model information and Title Card
- Allowed Tools: Fevicol, Glue stick BU LAIEN B-700, cello tape, scissors, string, sketch pens, cardboard base, scissor
- NOT Allowed: Soldering iron, glue gun, sharp cutters, batteries, knives, toxic cleaners.
- Note: Teams clean their table. 5 points deducted if area left messy.
- No pre-made models allowed. innovation and teamwork happen live!
🏆Judgement Criteria
- Disaster Relevance: Original thinking. How smartly did they use scrap? Story behind it?
- E-Waste Usage: Variety of e-waste used. Neatness Clean finishing? Teamwork visible during making.
- Innovation & Upcycling: Smart usage of E-Waste.
- Environmental impact & Presentation: how much e-waste is reused and reduced. Confidence + message clarity
