This is a competition designed to test analytical logic, hands-on engineering, and rapid problem-solving across three high-intensity rounds:

The Declassified Dossier (Case Study Puzzles): A test of scientific literacy and deduction. Teams analyze a case study detailing an influential scientific discovery or breakthrough technology, racing to decode the hidden concept with all key technical terms completely blacked out.

The Box (Mystery Box Engineering): A pure test of innovation. Teams are handed a closed box containing a random assortment of everyday materials. They must think on their feet to design and construct a functional, working mechanism under strict time constraints.

The Clock (JAM – Just a Minute): A rapid-fire public speaking arena. Representatives take the microphone to pitch spontaneous, impactful solutions to pressing, modern-day real-world problems in exactly 60 seconds.
