📝About the Event

Step into the future of innovation where creativity meets technology! The AI-Assisted Application Development Challenge provides students with an exciting opportunity to design and develop a functional web application that addresses a real-world problem. Teams will be presented with a theme or problem statement on the spot and must leverage their programming skills, logical thinking, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence tools to create an effective solution within the competition timeframe.

This competition is designed to showcase how AI can act as a powerful collaborator in the software development process. Participants will use approved free AI tools to assist with ideation, coding, debugging, interface design, and documentation while demonstrating their own understanding, decision-making, and technical expertise. The focus is not only on building a working application but also on creating innovative, user-friendly, and practical solutions.

Working in teams of two, students will experience a real-world software development environment where they must analyze requirements, plan features, develop the application, test functionality, and present their final product. The challenge encourages creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, computational thinking, and the ethical use of AI in software development.
