Rhythm of the Rainbow

Description:

“Rhythm of the Rainbow” celebrates the vivid emotions that each color of the rainbow represents. Teams will express these emotions through dance, costume, music, and props, creating a visually and emotionally impactful performance.

Participants are allowed to choose only one color to tell a story or convey a journey of emotions:

Event Specifications:

• Event Date and Time: Friday,1^st August 2025
• Eligibility: Grade: 5 – 6
• Type of Event: Team Event
• Number of Participants: 06 students per team
• Number of entries from School: 1 per school
• Time Limit: 3+1 mins

General Rules:

• This is a group event for the students of Grade 5-6
• Each school can have only one team of 6 participants
• Music selection must be aligned with the theme
• Introducing the chosen color and its emotion by the team is compulsory.
• Usage of properties are allowed.
• Props and costumes aligned with the chosen color theme are encouraged.
• To ensure compliance with the theme, participants should dress modestly and appropriately.
• Judges decisions are final.
• Teams must submit their music track in MP3 format to taaltarangnpsk@gmail.com by July 25th and must carry the song in pen drive on the day of the event for backup.

CATEGORY – 2 (Grade 9 & 10)

Sync Beyond Sound

Description:

In this innovative duet dance competition, two dancers perform the same choreography side-by-side, separated by a blind partition. Music will be randomly muted during the performance, testing their internal rhythm, memory, and coordination. When the music resumes, their synchronization will reflect their practice, focus, and musicality

Theme – Filmy folk (any famous Bollywood filmy folk songs)

Event Specifications:

• Event Date and Time: Friday,1^st August 2025
• Eligibility: Grade: 9 – 10
• Type of Event: Team Event (Duet)
• Number of Participants: 02 students per team
• Number of entries from School: 1 per school
• Time Limit: 3+1 mins

General Rules:

• Each team must consist of 2 students and both students must perform same choreography.
• An opaque screen will be placed between the dancers throughout the performance. Any form of communication between them during the dance will result in disqualification
• Dancers will not be able to see or communicate with each other during the dance.
• The performance track will have 3-4 random mute sections, each lasting between 10 to 20 seconds.
• These mute intervals will not be disclosed in advance.
• Dancers are expected to continue dancing in rhythm even when the music stops.
• Upon music resumption, dancers must remain in sync with the beat and each other’s positioning.
• Any noticeable desynchronization and stopping when in mute will affect scoring.
• Costumes should be same for both participants.
• Props are allowed but must be used in sync and should not cause any disruption.
• Use of inappropriate content, music, or gestures leads to disqualification.
• Teams must submit their music track in MP3 format to taaltarangnpsk@gmail.com by July 25th and carry the song in pen drive for backup.
